Apple of my Eye

Apple has just announced Aperture, an application targetted at Professional Photographers for organising, tweaking and generally impressing the pants off of anyone who looks at how you deal with your photos. Not having a Mac I'll just have to enjoy the demos which look stunning and incredibly well thought out. Great to see people re-inventing an area that is supposedly fully owned by someone else (ie, Photoshop). Expect to see some Adobe retaliation sometime soon and we'll all be the better for it.
